about

An album comprised of the artist's impressions of Joan Didion’s essays on California culture of the late 60s and early 70s. Subjects range from natural and psychological disasters brought on by the Santa Ana Winds to the nonchalant self preserving modes of shut-in Hollywood society to the complexities arising from returning home to a place that’s only stability is it’s endless descent toward oblivion. All winnowed through the artist’s own mesh of experiences being raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles.
